A Quote from a Brave and Courageous boy, Dominick Luchesi…

Steve & Cody:  When Dominick was in the hospital, he was battling for his life.  He was in constant pain from the tumor and excruciating pain from bladder spasms.   He was stronger, braver and more courageous then anyone I have ever experienced in my lifetime.  He never complained,  he followed every instruction from the doctors, nurses and his parents. Even when in pain, he would make little jokes to cheer his mom and dad up.   While going through a bladder spasm,  he was in such pain,  Bill, his father, was at the bedside crying.   Dominick looked up and said “this is no time for crying”,   and the nurse turned and said to Dominick,  “its ok Dominick,  you can cry if you want to”,   Dominick turned to the nurse and said “I’m not talking about me,  I am talking about my dad!!!”.  Dominick maintained his sweet, caring and fun loving personality all through this trying ordeal.  I can only hope to have the strength and courage this 11 year old boy had in his life.   God Bless Dominick Luchesi and his mom and dad,  Bill and Angie Luchesi.

From Angie:  As you all know, Dominick was a big baseball fan. We would like you to feel free to dress casually for both the visitation and funeral service. His baseball team was the Jr. Grizzlies and of course his passion was all about the Cubs. But please don’t feel like you need to buy anything. He enjoyed the rivalry between the Cards and Cubs. Also, if you feel more comfortable in traditional attire, certainly you can wear that. We just wanted you to know the invitation to be comfortable is there.
